Correspondent from China Meteorological News Wu Yan reported on December 13 that the China National Meteorological Administration's Akdala atmospheric background field scientific experimental base was established. The completion of the base can provide accurate and reliable basic scientific data for cross-border air pollutant transport research, satellite data ground verification, and green ecological civilization, and provide scientific and technological support for the construction of China's Silk Road Economic Belt.
Akdala's atmospheric background field scientific experimental base mainly conducts research on regional atmospheric chemistry and climate change. It has conducted comprehensive observation experiments of atmospheric environment and research on multi-device coordinated observation technology of atmospheric environment in cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions.
It is reported that this base is the second China Meteorological Administration's field scientific experimental base built by the Institute of Desert Meteorology after the Taklimakan Desert Meteorological Field Scientific Experimental Base was selected as the first batch of China Meteorological Administration's field scientific experimental bases. In the future, the Institute of Desert Meteorology will further strengthen the scientific and technological innovation work of field scientific experimental bases, improve the operation management mechanism, strengthen the basic scientific and technological support role of the base, build a scientific and technological innovation and research-based business foundation support platform, and realize the talent cultivation of field scientific experimental bases , Demonstration and promotion of scientific research results, open sharing and services, etc.
